Instructions

  1. Add the baby potatoes and cubed sirloin to your slow cooker.

  2. Add the Kinder’s seasoning, minced garlic, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce, if using. Pour in the beef broth, toss to coat, and place the butter on top.

  3. Cover and cook on HIGH for about 3 hours or LOW for 6–7 hours, until the potatoes are fork-tender. Check early, since sirloin can dry out if overcooked.

  4. Stir in the Alouette Garlic & Herb cheese during the last 15–20 minutes of cooking. Cover and let it melt.

  5. Stir to coat the steak and potatoes in the sauce. Serve with a vegetable prepared separately.

Tips for the Best Results

  • Cut your steak into uniform pieces for even cooking.
  • Check the potatoes a bit earlier than the cooking time to avoid overcooking the steak.
  • If you want to add some veggies, carrots or green beans work great in this dish.

Variations & Substitutions

  • Swap sirloin for flank steak or chicken if you prefer.
  • Use vegetable broth for a lighter version.
  • Add some red wine for extra depth of flavor.

Storing Leftovers

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. If you want to keep them longer, freeze for up to 2 months.

Reheating

Reheat leftovers on the stovetop over low heat, adding a splash of broth to keep it moist. You can also microwave in 30-second intervals until heated through.
