Acceptance of These Terms
Welcome to Simply Jade (simply-jade.com). By using the website, and especially by creating a member account, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or use the member features.
Who May Create an Account
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Simply Jade account. By registering you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that the account is for your own personal use.
Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Please choose a strong password and let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You can change your password or delete your account at any time from your account settings.
Member Features and Acceptable Use
Member features — such as liking and saving recipes, collections, and personal notes — are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the service: no attempting to access other members' data, no automated scraping or bulk collection of site content, no interfering with the operation of the site, and no using member features to store unlawful content.
Imported Recipes and Your Content
Some member features let you save content into your account, such as importing a recipe from elsewhere for personal reference. Anything you import or write (including personal notes) stays private to your account and is your responsibility — you must have the right to use the content you import. Importing a recipe for personal use does not transfer ownership of that content to you or to us, and imported content is never published on the public site.
Usage Limits
Some features have usage limits (for example, a monthly number of recipe imports on the free tier). We may adjust these limits over time, and we will always show your current usage and limits in your account dashboard.
Our Content
Recipes, photos, articles, and other content on Simply Jade are owned by us (or our licensors) and are provided for your personal use — cook them, print them, share links to them. Republishing our content wholesale without permission is not allowed.
Food and Allergy Disclaimer
Recipes are provided in good faith for general informational purposes. You are responsible for confirming that ingredients are safe and appropriate for you and your family, including checking for allergens and following safe food handling and cooking practices. Nutritional or timing information, where shown, is an estimate only.
Termination
You can stop using Simply Jade or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or create risk for other members, and we may discontinue or change member features over time.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Simply Jade is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or member features.
Future Paid Features
We may introduce optional paid subscriptions in the future. If we do, additional terms (including billing and cancellation terms) will be presented before you subscribe, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and continued use of your account after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. For significant changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify members by email.
